Winter woes

Hi all.
I have really nothing to say except...
I am very tired of winter. I am itching to get out in the gardens and see something green growing, be able to go out without putting on lots of layers, open the windows and let the fresh air into the house, sit outside in the evening and watch the sun set and the stars come out, put away the bulky sweaters and get out the warm weather gear, hike without shivering and losing feeling in my face (and any other parts not thoroughly covered!), seeing the chickens walk around without fear that their feet will freeze where they stand, and actually be able to say "no more snow until next winter!" (and be sure about it!)
thanks for letting me vent, but then that is what this blog is for!
Love to all (and here's to an early spring!) Enjoy the sunflower picture. I will plant a bunch more this year!
