Happy Easter to all!
We celebrated Easter at Mary's place this year and everyone had a great time. The girls received quite a few presents and, of course, Easter candy. Kaylyn was able to snack on the candy but Kiryn and Elizabeth decided to pass theirs on to their parents! (just wait til next year, girls) I finally finished the quilts that I have had almost ready for the past few months and the girls cuddled right up to them! They also received gifts and candy from the Great-Grandparents and Great-Auntie Mary. We shared in a delicious meal and everyone was content by days end. We also celebrated Kiryn's 1st Birthday but it is a week early so I will post those pictures on her birthday.
The coop is still under construction but should be completed by weeks end, I hope. We still only have 1 peep and hopes for more, in the incubator and under the guineas. We have a female guinea trying to make a nest under some of the brush along the property line. I now have to decide if I want to try to relocate the nest or leave her out at night and hope nothing comes by for a midnight snack. Moving guinea nests is a complicated matter because they tend to ignore the new place and then you are stuck with a bunch of eggs no one wants to set on. You would think this life with guineas would be fairly easy! I will post the completed coop whenever it is in fact completed.
I hope everyone had a fun filled Easter!
Love to all
