goodbye 2006....it was fun while it lasted

2006 was a quite a year for Ray and I...
new babies in the family,
Ashla Kimini Fulenwider born in January to Rebecca and Josh,
Xander Michael Haynes born in July to Joshua and Christle,
Kendra Ann Ashley born in December to Heather...
we saw our last child reach 21 in November...
our last set of parents celebrate 50 years of wedded bliss in June...
our last parent celebrate a 70th birthday in September...
2 granddaughters celebrate their 1st birthdays in April and August...
we spent many hours building a new chicken coop for the girls, created a garden that was much bigger than we have ever had before, took time for family visits up to Toledo with the whole gang, a cookout at the old homestead in August, holiday celebrations at home and away, took time for each other with a couple of camping trips, said a sad farewell to one of the family pets, Mel the cat...all in all this was a year full of happiness touched with a bit of sadness

2007 looks promising...
I have a fantastic trip planned with sister Deb and niece Illa to hike the Appalachian Trail for a few days...lots of new plans for the gardens and chickens...cookouts, visits, family, friends

I hope all of you are remembering 2006 with fondness and are looking forward to 2007, may it be the year of your dreams!!
