Elizabeth enjoyed the 1st snow fall of the season....
Sadie and Azi did too!
Old man winter finally arrived in Ohio today. The snow started to fall this morning and by noon we had about 1 inch on the ground. Ray and I still went shopping and the going was slow. When these pictures were taken this afternoon we had some freezing rain falling so the snow was crunchy on top but soft underneath. Elizabeth did very well in navigating this strange surface, but the dogs were not happy (hard to run on frozen snow!) They still had fun out in the cold, Elizabeth did not want to come inside!
The chickens are surviving in the cold and have started to lay a few eggs a day. They just cuddle up together, all rivalry forgotten until spring.
