We are heading out tomorrow for Maryland and the Appalachian Trail. This will be my 2nd foray into this wild trail and Ray's 1st. We are packed up and ready to go. We are planning on getting in the 40 miles of trail that runs through Maryland, which happens to be my birth state, and are taking 5 days to do it in. We will then head over to Pennsylvania to celebrate Ray's brothers 50th Birthday, Happy Birthday Craig!! We will head home on Saturday so I imagine pics will be posted of the great adventure on Sunday so stay tuned!
Justin will be staying here to care for house and pets with the help of Granddaughter Elizabeth. She is very good at taking care of things and will instruct her Daddy on the proper way to feed chickens, harvest tomatoes and gather eggs!
As long as the bears don't get me I will post on Sunday!!
