Best buds

Here is Ray with our crazy peep Luna. I think Luna is under the impression that Ray is her mother! This peep will climb up our clothes to perch on our shoulders while we try to get the rest of them tucked in for the night. We have had no other peep act this way but it sure makes for some funny pictures!
With all of the rain we have had over the past few days, Lake Myers has made it's return to the side yard (we have quite a bit of standing water..enough to fool the geese into thinking it is a lake!). I told Ray he looks like some kind of strange pirate with a chicken on his shoulder instead of a parrot. Now, if only these 2 had a boat...

In other news, we now have 7-1 month old peeps ready to go out into the yard and 4 brand new peeps that just hatched today. We will soon be overrun, but I doubt any will be as friendly, or as crazy as this particular peep.
