Hi all,
Ray and I participated in the Race for the Cure in downtown Columbus today, and we have the pictures to prove it! This is a 5k race where your entry fee goes to breast cancer research. We did pretty well completing the race in 51 minutes. At the finish line the sponsers gave out fruit, water, juice, yogurt and bagels. The estimated head count was 30,000 participants! Along the route there were local bands playing, some highschool bands and some little girl cheerleaders. Ray kept pace with me and Lisa, a friend from work, who walks just as fast as I do. I was very proud of him and we both have agreed to do it again next year. You never know, I may take up marathon racing!
Love to all

It was taken before the race. We really didn't work up much of a sweat as the temp outside was about 55 and the crowd was pretty thick so we really didn't have any area to really go hard for long. I was proud of Ray for keeping up even with the crowd!
