Zoo trip

Here are a few pics of the grands at the zoo this past Sunday. The girls had a good time in the petting zoo, Elizabeth found a goat she could relate to, Kaylyn and Kiryn found a place to dance around after lunch and Xander relaxed in his stroller. We spent a few hours wandering around and the girls kept us hopping! This was Elizabeth's 1st trip to the zoo and she did quite a bit of observing but I think she had a good time. Kaylyn and Kiryn have been before and knew just what they wanted to see. Kaylyn requested the monkeys and manatees and Kiryn was all about the petting zoo and anything that resembled a kitty (basically anything furry, bears, kangaroo, moose, buffalo.) She is a bundle of energy and kept going right until we were ready to leave, then decided to fall asleep while I carried her to the car. Xander is growing like a weed and is really loosing the newborn look. He is starting to look quite a bit like his Mama and now Kiryn is starting to look like her Daddy! I think they are all just beautiful and everyone was happy at the end of the day. We will plan another trip in the fall and of course, apple picking time is right around the corner.
