AT trip with Deb and Illa. I can't begin to express how much I have looked forward to my "maiden trek" on this most unique and wonderful trail. I did not get in as much trail as I had hoped but was absolutely not disappointed in it. I have plans to get in at least 1 weeks vacation in completing all 2200 odd miles of this wilderness in the next few years, with as many converts as I can possibly convince to join me, if not for the full week then just for a few miles. My idea of heaven is a diverse and interesting trail, good weather and a comfy sleeping bag to rest in at the end of each day. I found this on the AT.
