Hurricane Ike

Hurricane Ike came to town on Sunday and the following pictures are the result. We did not lose electric like so many others in our state and we certainly did not have the devastation that Texas endured but...we did lose our shed and lots of stuff was blowing around including the bunny hutch. Bernie bunny did survive the trauma and is now his same old bunny self but he was pretty freaked out much like me. The day began with a nice wind to dry the clothes on the line and ended with shingles ripped from the roof, siding peeling from the walls, 1 demolished garden shed (which fell right on top of my fence , tomato plants and brussel sprouts), 1 freaked out bunny (who was moved to temporary shelter in the garage) and some trees limbs down (which thankfully fell into the field next door instead of on top of my car). All in all a nice display of Mother Natures power, don't you think??
