welcome fall

So, fall has been with us for a few weeks and we are trying our best to embrace this change in season. As seasons go, I consider Summer to be my best friend, Spring to be my most welcomed season and Winter my most reflective time but Fall has her appealing side as well. We harvest and put up all the fruits of our Summer labors, the cooler weather makes for some perfect sleeping weather, we have more time for our leisurely pursuits (in between all of that putting up, that is) and of course there are the gorgeous fall colors all around. We haven't been on too many nature hikes yet, after all Fall is only a few weeks old, but we did manage to make it out to Mohican State Park once already with plans to make it out as much as possible before the chill of Winter hits. We've had one successful apple picking outing with the kids and grandkids and plan on a weekend hike this coming weekend. Breathing in/breathing out...enjoying the season and the life you live within it
